The Antivirus can be downloaded from here . The download file size is around 8.6 Mb which is a breeze to download.
Moving on to the Setup......................The setup is rather quite friendly and within a few clicks you are up and running the Antivirus......................The First thing you would notice post installation is the option for a quick scan post updates.
The moment the updates are done the AV performs a quickscan and immediately found two infections on my system (Atleast it said they were infections)

The first file was a ebayshortcut- which was a good discovery and the second one was a file from Cain & Abel - which i dint wanna remove ..................so it gave me the recommended actions and asked me for the final verdict.
So far the Antivirus was impressive. Afterall the moment it came alive on the system two detections ..................fiarly impressive..
The fact that Microsoft is giving a product free of cost isnt convincing at all and am sure there has to be a catch to it which only time will tell.
The only catch to it so far was That this would only run on a Genuine Windows OS
Apart from that the interface is fairly simple and easy to understand..
For some strange reason even though the task manager dosent show up a lot of machine utilization but with MSE running the machine`s performace dipped considerably.
The scanning is good and the fact that it gives you a option to leave out a certain directory or a folder to be scanned from is good from the perspective of an Information Security personnel but for home users this might be a bad deal ....................... as malacious files could be transferred to the system and be excluded from being scanned thereby not being detected.
Apart from that i am yet to see bugs in this nifty anitivurs from Microsoft.Yet again i havent tested it completey so no final verdict but this one is definetly here for a while.
